The three of us met at Vox Media Studios, where we helped shape some of the most ambitious nonfiction storytelling in TV.

It all started in 2018, when Jon and Marina joined Vox to work on what would become the hit Netflix series Explained. A year later, Avery came on board, and what started as a single project turned into seven years of collaboration, problem-solving, and pushing the boundaries of nonfiction storytelling.

Together, we helped expand Vox Media Studios’ TV and Film division, bringing smart, engaging, and beautifully crafted stories to platforms like Netflix, HBO, Apple, and many more. Along the way, we built a shorthand, a trust, and a shared belief: Great production isn’t just about managing logistics—it’s about empowering creativity with structure, strategy, and expertise.
